No affiliation. Hey guys I saw these on audiogon today. Pretty good price, too bad I'm short on funds at the moment. http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrfull&1138208297

I emailed him early, but I'm probably too late on them. Hope some Polkie gets them.

Zach, if you want them, just tell me. The guy that's selling them is a friend of mine.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

I did end up getting these, thanks to Russ's help.
He is going to pick them up and baby sit until I can make down in a couple of weeks.
At this price, I can definetly get my SDA feet wet.Tschüss

If you decide to sell them, or can't pick them up, let me know and I will buy them from you.

Sami,
I'll keep that in mind if it turns out I can't pick them up or need the $$$.Tschüss

Picked them up last week at Russ's. Been waiting to give an update when I got everything hooked up, but it may be a couple more weeks.....
Anyway, A big thanks to Russ for taking the time to pick them up and hold them for a while and then letting my dad, brother, and I drop by his house. I was exhausted, leaving me to be a man of few, and little, words. The line arrays sounded great, promting my brother to inquire about them more once we got on the road. I hope I get to make it down there again in the future, especially if he decides to host another Texas/Polkfest.
Now, to the speakers:
To me, they are in great shape. There are tiny little cosmetic items that could be touched up, but they won't bother me at all. The owner couldn't find the interconnect at the time, but said he would make another one and mail it to me. I'd attempt this on my own, but my soldering skills are extremely poor.
The original tweets, SL2000's, are still in them, but I plan to change those out in a few months.
Don't know exactly what I'll be running these with right now. I might do a little bargain shopping for a vintage integrated amp or stereo receiver one weekend at the local pawn shops. Russ had a nice NAD integrated that would have worked, but I didn't have the $$$ at the time.
I'll write my own little review of them, as if people don't already know what they sound like, as soon as I get them up and running.
