Here are pics of the Luxman CD player. They really don't do it justice. The black anadized front is absolutely awesome looking. Kind of a "wet" look to it.
On one pic you can see the marks on the top. On the rear is a set volume output and also a variable output. You can actually use it with no preamp with the variable out or set it to be the same as your other sources.
It weighs a ton and has never acted up or had troubles. It is a work of art as far as build quality. For example, the bottom is a super heavy plate and the cover is held on with screws with rubber inserts to prevent vibration. The actual CD drive unit is super heavy duty. All this helps create quite a good sound.
If it were not for the marks on the top I would rate it near mint. The faceplate, sides, back and bottom are perfect.

The Luxman would go nicely with your other purchase Anthony....CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
