    Man, what is the deal with all the SRTs becoming available the last week or two???

    They're all becoming available now due to the fact that i'm currently broke,
    will give a kidney for a set,but so far no one is interested in my kidney. :rolleyes:

    Hey i just got those. :p
    That's the reason why i'm broke. ;)
    I'm in the process of refurbishing them.
    I'm getting new woofers,replacing the wires,
    new felt and new black cloth for the rear cabinet and new
    speaker plate with dual gold interconnect.
    All i'm missing is the crossover which i still have to find
    (clearview active crossover cr1).

    Like everyone else, I've drooled over the SRTs for quite awhile. I've never heard a set and often wondered what the reasons would be to put in the effort to grab a set of them. I'm asking out of ignorance here and honestly want to know. Can someone who has heard a set of them compare them with the RT3000's or current Polk speakers? What kind of amp does a person need to drive them? I'm asking because I live just a few hours from Vegas......
