Purchased in 1993, stored for the last 8-9 years. Few small scratches, sound great. No way the wife will allow them in the house, pick up preferable. $1500.00 Tried on Klipsch forum, apparently fell thru. One last try and then to agon.

Did you buy those new in 1993? The parts look to be from an older vintage. The wiring seems to have been upgraded also. Nice looking KHorns.(he says as he starts counting all his pennies, breaking into the kids piggybank, and checking all the old hiding spots and old savings acct books)

I'm glad pick-up is out of state for me because if it was local it would be harder to say no.

Nd.....Those were still being made then with the same drivers as usual, if I am not mistaken they still make these.

Yeah, I know that they are still in production, It just looks like the crossover/network is mighty old and the horn looks to be a vintage model. I guess they could have a large stockpile of parts from 1958. I would think that if they were an older set in that shape it would actually make them even more sought after.

Cool, I'm by no means a Klipsch expert, just been doing a little research as of late. Was looking to get a pair to put with the ASLs,but now that I've heard my 7As on them, there really isn't a need anymore.

Sorry for the derail, George. I'd take them in a heartbeat if I had the scratch to do it right now, just for the experience. Whether I liked the sound or not, I wouldn't lose anything at the price you're selling them for. :)

I purchased them from a dealer, I think that he sold them for a customer (whom he had originaly sold them to). I believe that the original owner was a pilot for eastern airlines at them time. So I took them home(original box) and they became part of my home theater system. They have been stored and well taken care of ,over the past few years.Recently,I set them up for a potential buyer, who never appeared. They still sound great, makes you grab the "electric broom" and crank it out.I would like to see someone get these who would really appreciate what they have, and enjoy them for many years as I have. I can think of no better place to offer them than this forum.

Very nice pair, George. Those are Klipsch models that I have always liked. Paired with tube amps, they can really fill a good size room with luscious sound.

    Hey George,

Post them for sale under 2 Channel Audio over at the Klipsch forum. You'll move them for sure, and there are some nuts for Klipschorns over there who'll love on them. (We've already been talking about them over there) :D

If you want me to I can bump that thread over there to the top so you can read what they had to say.

Dylan still wants the Klipschorns -- he is ready to buy. I sent him your email address. You might want to check your bulk/spam folder to see if Dylan's previous emails were junked.

    LOL!

No, actually, I was looking into a pair of Bryston monoblocks a few months back and the seller told me that "amps have been in storage ever since i moved from a single family home into an apartment" so I just interpreted it.

Nope, I'm doing fine, getting ready to make another trip to the great sandbox.....you still rebuilding DQ-10's??

LMAO, I guess I should learn to read - I see it now.

I spend most of my time doing Klipsch networks. I've only done one set of DQ's in the last year. Most aren't willing to dish out the dough -- which is kind of understandable I suppose. I be kinda expensive. :)
