I can tell you why too! Underneath all that fur is a running dog. Somewhere in its genes it's got greyhound or some other kind of running dog bred into it.
Add in all the fur that a cats claws could get stuck in without getting through to the dogs skin & the cat will probably lose.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2 -
If a horse or a mule landed a kick, even a brushing kick... that cat would be down for the count. BAM!

Might be a blocked sight but the guy goes one on one with a pissed off leaopard and does allright. I think I'll take the horse if no ambush is present.
Dogs V. Cats? My dog fights (plays) like a cat. she bashes the cat around with her paws until the cat bolts and the snaps on their tail repeatedly. She lets the cats go since she's playing but I have yet to see a cat get a swipe in that was closer than a foot to making contact. There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin
