1,000 a pair was new for the RT2000i right?

Then 360 is a pair is what it means. The RTi's resale value sucks...

The RT800 series and such sells for like 250 or so

    Sid-

The RT2000i's sold for $2000. for a pair.
the msrp quoted is per speaker, and the used price is per speaker.
The word I've heard so far from multilple sources is........
    $500 (polk wisconsinite) - $950 (audiogon) for a pair.

BTW the RT1000i's sold for $1000. per pair
The RT800i's for $800. per pair

Exactly! They'd make great HT mains.
I used them as HT rears, but with the RT3000's as mains and the SVS dedicated sub, it was a bit too much....blasphemy I know.... bass! ;)
So I'm back to the FX1000's as rears.
Besides it frees up a little floor space, the HT room was looking like Stonehenge. lol
