Sold the amp so these are OFF the market... Thanks for looking

It pains me, But i want something else that is not selfish as my 2 channel rig for me.. we are saving for a used boat my sister in-law and husband have.. its old, and cheap but it will benefit the whole family and give my wife and kids some much needed recreation being we live in florida... i WILL replace them sooner or later with a polk speaker... But for now.. they are for sale. I could have sold them but i was undecided and missed that boat. So i'll offer them to the polkies here first hand...

Sda 1B
new upgraded tweeters, all new woofers, original passive radiators... all bought from polk ... about 600 + invested in drivers/tweeters, of course i wont lie i sold most of the old ones to fund it but still had to cover the remainder cost on each driver.. they are in nice shape... vinyl covered and the back edges are turns up here and there like old vinyl speakers tend to do especially in a humid climate like florida.. sound fantastic!!!! comes with a homemade interconnect cable... the ends are kinda crude and could use a re-do already but it does work and is being used now. its 14/4 monster inwall 2 wires soldered together for each spade... grills are snag free and stain free... im in the tampa bay area and will/can drive them within reason for gas money is all i ask.

Id like 425.00

Thats an Extremely fair price for those 1B's with the replacement tweets. big difference with the silk domes. big sound, image great, I still have my 1B's being used in a second 2 channel i use for gaming. I cant even bring myself to part with them, they're that good. Someone has to snag these.

    Cliff,

Having been around boats my entire life I just want to caution you that while they are tons of fun, they are also HUGE money pits and require vast amounts of time and labor to keep in shape.

The two best days of a boat owners life:

    The day he buys it......

And the day he sells it. :)

Sorry to jump in on the derailment of your post Cliff. These are going to sell though, they are too nice not too. I wish I could have bought these, but I am already commited on the SDA 2's.

$375? Listen to the others. I sold my boat, damn thing would eat 10-15 gallons of gas an hour. So your selling your rebuilt Polks for two days worth of gas? We won't even get into maintenance...especially on an OLD boat.

If you want the boat, buy it, but $375 will go nowhere in that hobby, keep the SDA's.

I appreciate your concern, you know how it is ya gotta try for yourself... can't always take someones word and have never tried.. The $375 isnt for gas or maintanance its to help buy the boat.. its a family member and pretty cheap IMO and been in fresh water all its life.. came from my brother in-laws dad who was the original owner.. so id hope it was a sound boat....

    still up for grabs

Well, I see your problem. You've only got 3/4 of a boat. You need to add a "H" and you'll have a complete john boat.
