I'll take that with a very small grain of salt considering you hated Blade Trinity yet loved Star Wars saying it's the best yet.

When it comes down to it, there is almost no difference between the two films. Both have very bad acting and weak story lines. About the only difference is in the special effects. How you can love one and hate the other when they offer up nearly the same stuff doesn't say much.

Sure, Lucas has created some great eye candy (at times) but that's it. Strip away the special effects and there's nothing left.

Umm, not quite the same bit. I have seen the previous 2 (so my ripping is justifiable) and I am not ripping the fans.

I've seen Revenge OF The Sith. I think it is excellent.
Aside from the Christensen/Portman scenes of course.

Unlike Menace and Clones that WERE all style- little substance- this one has a nice blend of both.

Ian Mc.Diarmond does a fantastic job- he steals the movie- and Christensen and Mc.Gregor are actually pretty solid. It's Jackson and Portman that were the let-downs- they acted like they didn't have a heartbeat.

The duel in Menace- was all style, less substance.
The duels in Clones were no style, no substance.
The anakin/obi-wan duel in this one is unreal. The Best since Luke vs. Vader in Empire.

Sure the script writing and dialogue are sub-par for the prequels- but that was the case for the original trilogy as well. I think most people forget that due to the fact we've all grown up and watching the new episodes as an adult for the purposes of nostalgia will never duplicate the great feeling of watching the originals when we were younger.

I think that more than anything dooms I and II to "woulda, coulda, shoulda" class- but I believe Episode III delivers. I think only Empire is better. JMO

I tried to forget about this movie. You're right though, it was painful. I remember it ending and looking at my buddy saying "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ABOUT???" There was literally no climax and it just kinda... ended. Weak!

This post brought it back up, I forgot about it too. But it is the only movie that I can recall, the way you did. Like WTF just happened, and I can't believe I sat through this...I haven't watched it since, maybe there is some deeper message that I am missing....

What are you people thinking! Some of those movies were watchable if not actually good!

We're talking the worst movie, right!

How about Battlefield Earth. Now this one almost took out Traolta's career.

Another almost career killer for a good actor. Volcano. I could hear Tommy Lee Jone's career actually cracking in the middle of this one!

Tommy Lee's career has been going down hill for a while though. Sure it almost started right around Volcano but when was the last time you didn't see him in his typical Type-Cast role? "Hey, we need a Good Guy cop who's a little older..."

Here is a new one. 'CRASH'

I just sat thru the 120 most excruciatingly painful minutes of my life!

This is the STUPIDEST movie Ive EVER seen! Way worse than anything M Night Shittymovie every put out.

    Here's the jist:

    The LAPD is racist.
    White people are racist.
    Arabs are racist.
    Black people are racist.
    Hispanic people are racist.
    Asian people are racist.

    Thats it.

This stupid piece of **** jumps from about 50 different plots so much you cant keep up and they all center around racism.

    Worst movie EVER!

I gotta also defend Jim Carrey. In his comedic roles he's exactly what he's supposed to be - an over-the-top goon. Assuming you have THAT TYPE of sense of humor, he's HILARIOUS. I laugh at almost every movie he does (barrring, say, the Cable Guy). He's not a great serious actor, but IMO a perfect comedic actor.

"Ace Ventura", "Liar Liar", "Dumb and Dumber"... no one else coudl do those roles.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I'm not saying that noone else's opinions matter. I'm just saying that IMO, most of his roles get on my nerves. I did like "Liar Liar", though. Robin Williams has done alot of great movies , but he has the tendency to get on my nerves, also, as does Bill Murray. "Stripes" is a classic, but "What About Bob" grates on me. Everybody has opinions on just about any subject, and my opinion is just that, my opinion. I respect everyone else's, but that doesn't mean I have to agree, but I did notice noone has disagreed with Sly or J-LO.
