    Steve those are nice speakers for sure, I took a look at the same pair as well as the c5s or the c7s they have factory seconds at good prices here in town. I was tempted but then I would have had to change all my speakers, if I did that I would have had the set up in the car as I wouldn't be allowed in the house:D

    Well, these and the Paradigm studio 100's were the only speakers I was interested in, in the sub $1500/pr set. I really hate used speakers, as I'm a fussy ****--so goodbye Paradigms. These are brand new.

    Now, if we can just prod UPS to keep them in one piece...........

    Awesome buy! I've heard the C-7s, and I really liked them; maybe even more than I like my Klipsch. Certainly nice stuff. I am a little envious, though, as they go 6Hz lower than mine....:p

    No sir, still have them. It's hard to sell audio in this small town. Having boxes made and shipping the things would net me about $160; not worthwhile.

    I have never had the chance to listen to Energy speakers, but those bad boys look as if they sound serious. I'm sure that you will run enough 2-channel juice through 'em to find out. Give us a report when you break 'em in Steve.

    My wife makes incredible 100% home made Salsa. Not the "red" store bought ****.....the real, green salsa. It's killer. Ask I-SIG (Wes) he'll tell you the deal on Bev's salsa.

    Well, here's my take on that: I use all of my speakers for HT, so I guess any speaker I buy will be an "HT" speaker....right?

    I buy what sounds good and is a good value, I don't worry about hype or "what I should have."

    Review will most definitely be coming---but won't do much good; the C-9 is about to be discontinued. I don't know if Energy is doing a new connoisseur line, or ending the series.

    I'm 80% music, 20% movies I guess. I always pick with 2-channel audio in mind; I don't "do" surround.
