Is there any difference between the "subwoofer" cables vs. a regular RCA type cable vs. a digital coax cable? I think digital coax is a solid core cable right? Is the subwoofer cables solid core or are that strands?

TIA

Since you mostly need shielding for a subwoofer cable, I would imagine a video cable would be the best subwoofer cable you can buy - no? I mean...it IS shielded the most, right?

so the subwoofer cable is the same as a RCA interconnect huh! Thanks Sean for the clarification.....I was looking to buy one but they are all like 12 feet long.....I need a 3 ft run....I'll just use an RCE interconnect....thanks!

bandwidth capabilities would be the only thing I would say that would technically be different. For a sub cable, you really want very little bandwidth. I know RG59 works nice where RG6 does not sound anywhere close.
