have you ever heard them? I have trouble selling them and they're at $64.99/ea. at my shop.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

They aren't very impressive and you see Fry's trying to sell Polk's bottom of the line speakers all the time at prices like these.
I had a friend who bought several of different models, yet returned his $199 LSi7's without giving a test listen because he felt they were too expensive. I'm still kicking him for ruining my good deed telling him about the sale. He is happy with his R-series speakers, not knowing what he had in the LSi's. -

Clearly not the best, but I am still happy with mine for HT duty. -
Do you get any more bass response out of these than you would out of, say, the r15 bookshelfs? It seems that the R30's are just R15's sitting on top of a big tube for venting.Ludicrous gibs!

Definitely. The extra cabinet size helps it play lower, plus it's a 6½" driver instead of 5¼".
