    In case anyone ever doubted MTX's bulletproof construction, check this out!

    I can believe it. Ive got a 150 watt MTX 8" thats been getting over 350 watts for about 8 months now and hasnt seemed to bother it at all.

    I appologize for posting car audio stuff over here but the car audio side is effin' DEAD lately. :(

    Ooh... Imagine mounting that in a box. How would you do it? Hmm... I think you're supposed to lay it on a piece of wood, and then you build the box around it.

    MTX makes some of the best audio equimpent to be had (subs and amps) but yet theyre regarded as kind of cheap, i.e. Circuit City brand. The truth is they are as good as any high end brand out there.

    When I first got into HT, I bought a pair of MTX floorstanding speakers with 10" woofers for $300/pair from CC. Some of the purest bass I ever heard from floor standers at any price.

    MTX makes amps that are among the best on the planet. Tons of clean power and overbuilt to the point of almost being ridiculous.

    MTX makes not only very sweet sounding subs that hit very hard but they are the best built on the market.

    MTX speakers SUCK!

    Why is that? :confused:

    You would think that as well as they make subs and amps they could make some speakers that didnt sound like Panasonics.
