I can't get over this..help

I found an awesome deal: 4 mint rt35, 1 mint CS350LS and a semi mint M&K 3vb sub for a whopping $250. I e-mail the person the person emailed back, deal was made for me to pick them up this weekend, I called today and BAM...they sold them to someone else. Only explanation was that it was a good deal and the other person "really" wanted them. I just can't get over being PO'd. Just tell me it was a bad deal or bad speakers or something to make me feel better. Maybe being speakerless while I wait for the speakers from Greg due this weekend has something to do with it. Anyhow thanks for letting me rant

    I have learned from this forum...when it`s meant to be, and is truely a good deal, it will come to you....

    Did you pay for the deal up front?

    Part of the problem may have been that the buyer didn't have your money in his hand. Gotta tie up a good deal with cash. That's why I like to use PayPal. Verbal agreements with people you don't know are kinda fragile.

    I'm feeling better now...I did offer a deposit via Paypal, they said it wasn't necessary. I just figure they must of Ebay'd what they were selling and changed their mind..no biggie, Saturday my new stuff from Greg will be here and this will be forgotten about. Thanks for the comments.

    Yea I had a deal like that... mint sda 2.3tl's for a very reasonable price... I made arrangements to drive from british columbia to oregon to get them and responded to all his emails within an hour. I told him when can I pick them up and he didn't answer for 3 days. Yea he sold em on me and I was pissed for a while but if there is a good deal once its bound to happen again. Sometimes missing a good deal only sets you up for waiting for an even better deal. Plus think of how much space you'll save without all that gear and how much happier the wife will be. Now you can say look honey this deal was sooo awesome but I refused because I was thinking of you. :D (waaa such bs)
