Been listening to XRCD since CES! Noticeably better than standard recorded cds. Sonics are much better & resolution wow has soo much more info. Patricia Barbers Companion, Super Analog Sound of TBM, Eagles Hell Freezes Over is just some of the XRCD recordings that I have been listening to. Scheffield Drum & Track Disc & the Super Double Bass in XRCD 24 are cds to have as reference! I never thought recordings could make soo big of a difference! I prefer XRCD24 (24 bit) higher resolution, but most music I prefer to listen to is recorded in XRCD2 (20 bit) which is very very good also! If you have a chance give xrcd recordings a listen!

I also like HDCD, even though my CDP doesn't decode them, they sound wonderful.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

Good stuff, eh! I also recommend the XRCD's from First Impression Music, http://www.fimpression.com/default.aspxPolitical Correctness'.........defined
