Dynaco A-440 Iron, mono amps. Anyone know how far back these date?

Separate power supply for the mono amps.

Iron checked out good, I'm thinking too much work for a complete re-cap.

They are heavy, you got that right. The mono's probably come in around 25-30Lbs each. The power supply is another story. Feels alot like a bag of quik-crete.

    Cheers,
    Russ

So, pardon my ignorance, but why does the power supply require tubes, itself?

Are they out of a Hammond church organ? They look very similar to the Hammond Model G-40 tone cabinet amps.

No idea broham, came straight of my 'Uncles' garage.

Had the Iron checked, didn't spec very well - somewhere around 38Hz at 3db down. Hardly organ material, or I hope not at least.

    Cheers,
    Russ
