Wow the RTi6's Rock!
I was in the right place at the right auction to get an unbelievable deal on an Adcom GFA7605 (5 ch. amp, 125 wpc). I had picked up a second set of HT speakers (RTi6 mains, Rti4 surrounds, CSi5 front center, CSi3 rear center) to use with my old Yamaha HTR-5660 receiver as a second HT system in the rec-room of the new house. Due to having Outlaw M200's powering the main HT system, I hooked the Adcom up to the RTi6's/RTi4's and CSi5 in the second system. Wow, what a difference that made in the RTi6's and RTi4's. Not as big a change when watching a DVD, but an amazing difference when listening to a CD. I didn't think the RTi6's were that power hungry! The Adcom is a little bit of an overkill for this system, but not sure where I'm going to find a decent 5 ch. amp for $210 again!

Man, that's just what I've been waitin' to hear! I have the exact set up. RTi 6-front, RTi 4-rear/surr., CSi 3 center. For some time now I've been contemplating the purchase of a multi-channel amp to bring out the potential of these speakers. My receiver is by far no cheap-o, (Sony STR-DA4ES), but I still believe the idea of making use of it for its processing and bass management proves to be more beneficial than also letting it take care of the amplification duties. I've been thinking of going with an Anthem MCA 50 5 ch. amp. I think it retails for around $2000.00 I believe it will breathe new life into my speakers. The next upgrade will be to an SVS 25-31 sub from my Polk PSW 404. Not that this is a bad sub, but after all the praises I've read about them here and all the editorial reviews, I think that's the one I'm going to go with! Enjoy dem speakers man!!If you don't drive a Jeep, then please stay on the pavement.
