Good price for non-mint LSi's?

What would be a good price for a pair of LSi-15's that are not in mint condition?
A local store has a floor model LSi-15 for sale that is not in the best shape. They would still have the full factory warrantee. (authorized dealer)

1) There are scratches on the base plate of the speakers (not cracked that I can see though)
2) The top front left corner (in the black gloss - left speaker) is crinkled. It is not horrid, but since the surface is shiny you can see it - obviously banged against something moving it around)
3) The grills are in horrid shape. (would have to be replaced)

They still sound ok (speakers do not appear to be blown) what would be a fair price on these? If I could get them for under a grand would it be worth it? If worth less, what should I offer?

Thanks,

Michael

They would probably sell them at cost just to get rid of them. Offer between 600-800 for the pair.

    I wouldn't offer more than $500 flat.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I agree with Doro, those should be sold for well below cost. $4-500 tops.

Reasons: Well they have been abused and used for advertising and the company already got more monetary benifit from the speakers than they cost. Really whine about the condition as well..
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin
