Denon DVD-1910....
Talked to the guys at a local high-end shop and they recommended this one. One of the key features that sold me was the DVI connection. They had one hooked up to a Pioneer set and the picture was awesome. It's only been out for a couple of months and it's already received some decent press from the folks at Secrets of Home Theater & High Fidelity HERE. I got it for about $140 more than the Toshiba ($210) but I think it will be worth it. Some of the other features are...
- DVI digital video output with HDCP copy protection (selectable 480p/720p/1080i output)
- Burr-Brown PCM-1756 192kHz/24-bit audio D/A converter
- Faroudja DCDi de-interlacer with 3-2 pulldown processing
- Dual, discrete 54MHz/10-bit video DACs (one for progressive-scan and one for interlaced video)
- Optical and coaxial digital outputs for Dolby Digital/DTS/PCM
- Plays digital picture CDs (JPEG)
- Plays DVD-Video, DVD-R & DVD-RW, DVD+R & DVD+RW, Video CD, CD, CD-R & CD-RW, and MP3 and WMA CD-R & CD-RW
Unfortunately Sears delayed delivery if my new TV until next Monday the 29th. However the new DVD player is IN THE HOUSE...ready and waitin'...

Sounds good. I just removed the crossovers to upgrade the binders this weekend.
I also affixed new feet for the bottoms, as the old ones were cracked and/or missing.
New tweeters, new binders, new feet....they are gonna be a sweet addition to your home Shackdaddy.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
