Picked these up this week. Similar to the RTi150 in layout.

Nice speakers, you Dallas local guys start emptying your piggie banks.

Cheers,
Russ

Single - they image like a ****, and have an articulate bass response. A lot of fun to listen to.

Great speakers. I believe those are the version 2 Monitor 11s. Someone should snag these for a 2 channel rig.

I've thought about those often as a possible next upgrade. I have a constant competition between those and the Energy C-9's.

Very cool. I bet they can pump out some serious bass.

    Hello,
I checked out the Paradigm site and the monitor 11s has a port on the bottom, these look a lot like the 90p's?

They are Monitor 11's. There is more than one model of that speaker and series.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Of course, it better sound good given how much these Paradigms probably cost.

Whether they "image" better than the Polk RTA-11t (my brother gave me these speakers!) is another matter though. :)

    Paradigm Monitor 11 MSRP - $1000

    Polk RTA 11T MSRP - $950

Yeah, they cost SO much more than the Polks did - and considering I have had both in my home, I can honestly say these sound better in almost every aspect over the 11's.

    Cheers,
    Russ

I'm sure the Paradigm Monitor 11's sound better than the RTA-11t given that the Monitor 11 is of very recent vintage. :) I believe that the RTA-11t dates from the early 1990's in terms of design....

Vintage has little to nothing to do with how good a speaker sounds. I've got speakers from the 80's that sound better than the Monitor 11's. I've got speakers from the 60's that if you took them in a room, with a 10w push-pull amp - we'd never see you again.

    Cheers,
    Russ

    Yup yup...

And BTW, the past 3 or so posts have been funny...
