since our hous was damaged, today the last piece of carpet gets put down and we no longer have to share our house with reno guys.

I can't wait to set up my system again. The carpet "layers" if we can call them that will be running 14awg under the base boards before stuffing the carpet in to the rears....yipee we had 18awg can't wait to see if it'll make a difference.
No more dust going into my gear I'd clean and 1hr later I could run my finger on the gear and leave a clean mark...damn dust !!

we will be changing the locks on the front door ...sorry about going on to some may seem like nothing but we will finally have our house back to ourselves. we have owned it for 6 months but only been able to enjoy for the first three.....

I dont know what they did or why there is so much dust, but if it sheatrock dust of any kind what-so-ever

Expect to see that for a year, if not more...

Its been 10 months and I STILL get quite a bit of sheatrock dust...

Wood dust isnt as bad as sheatrock but still sticks around quite some time...

Congrats on getting ur house back! What happened to it?

Can you get them evicted.. so that doesn't happen again?

Hey didn't all your gear get damaged (hee hee hee) and now you need to have it all replaced with Krell and Mark Levinson new gear? :D

Man, what happened to your house? I never heard about it. Sounds pretty bad, though. Glad you've got it back.

The upstaires (we live in garden homes) neighbour's aquarium leaked about 10 of it's 100 gallons and destroyed our kitchen. this took about 2 moths to complete about 1 week before it was completed we got the tail end of that hurricane and it wrecked over 13K worth of construction. the fish tank caused 7K so for the past 3 months we have ad contractors in and out....and a grand total of damage of 20K..... thank god condo insurance paid for it all !!
