How to RIP Mp3's

I have a 400 disk cd changer in the house, and I want to make/burn some of those cd's in the mega changer so I can listen to them in the car.
I know how to copy cd's of coarse, but what i want to do is rip the song's to the hard drive, then make a music keg cd. (since my cd player is capable of that.)
Can someone recommend some software to do this. Or does WMP or Roxio do this?
Thanks for the help fellas

Rip them through Media Player to your harddisk...
Then put all the files you want in a huge folder....
Then drag the folder to your Disk drive (cd burner) (with a blank disc in it)
Then click on write files to a CD....this will write all the files to the CD, and will be a MP3 CD...- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

Try a program called 'exact audio copy'.
It's the best free software out there right now and most audiophiles prefer it. MP3, as a rule, is a very bad format for sound quality, but Exact Audio Copy does an awesome job at ripping CDs and losing the least.
Get EAC Here
Read that site and download the prog. There are other places to get it as well.
Let me know if you have any quesitons. I've been using it for 2 years now.
CDex is another good prog. -
Thanks guys.
Demi...I know Mp3's basically are average at best....but no way in hell am I buying two copies of the same CD. And its just a pain in the arse to get cd's out of the changer, and replace them on a regular basis.
Just easier this way. -

No kidding! I have like 9,000 MP3s and have an MP3 CD player in my car.
It's nothing you'll notice unless it's on your home system or on a really good car system. Or...if the quality is just bad to begin with.
Use one of those programs though...they're great. -

If you'vre never done it before, I'd highly recommend Cdex over EAC. It's ease of use will make up for any slight difference in audio quality.
