I just recently purchased a brand new 04 Frontier King cab V6(Desert Runner) and will hopefully be moving my DX3065 components from my old truck into the new. Does anyone know if the DX3065's 61/2" mid/woofs fit the existing door speaker locations. The location of the OEM tweeters is almost identical to where I placed the polk tweeters in my old truck. However, I may decide to raise them up a couple of inches higher to improve the soundstage. The truck came with the OEM 4 speaker 100w (100w...yeah right) system, 2 door speakers and two tweeters flush mounted on the winshield/roof/door support beam. The truck also has power windows and mirrors as well as remote power door locks.

if you go to www.polkaudio.com/car and search a little bit youll see a "What fits" button
although im not sure if it includes the older models...in fact, i doubt it...but if you know the mounting depth at them and compare them to drivers that are on the site...

I used to have a Nissan Frontier although it was a 98 model. The factory provisions are for a 6.5 mid and 1" or so tweeter. Im sure the 04's are set up the same. You shouldnt have any trouble making them fit.
