Brett's out there. It's time to stop playing with those LSi's and step up to a man's speaker. ;)

    Pretty dead on there, Jesse.

Wasn't watching for a few months, but I've records of three pair this year on ebay: $1999 (May, Seattle area), $1599 (Feb, St Louis) and $1214 (March, NYC)!!! All were in very good condition.

There were also some internal bracing mod's in the 1.2 and tl. Biggest difference though is the originals had the SL2000 tweeters, which I like, but many find to be bright.

Bottom line... as Jesse said, bag 'em if you can...

Looking at being jobless at the end of next week, and needing to buy a house and get a car, these aren't in the mix for me unfortunately.......

That, and I'd be running them off my B&K 307, which ultimately wouldn't pass...

Get your priorities straight, you don't need a job, mate, house or car. Hell, look at Hotwheelman.....he's been sleeping on the floor for months now just so he could buy more gear. :D

Biggest difference for me is the 4ohm factor
VS the 8ohm of the 1.2's
These things need big juice to run.
Polk suggests up to 1000watts per channel.

But at $500 to start they may go pretty cheap.

I have a $1500.00 reserve set on the speakers(just to let you know)from what you guy's say that is at the low price. They sound great even with a 200watt per channel amp.I guess I could ship them if anybody want's to pay for shipping(can only begin to think how much that would be).The only reason I'm selling them is my WIFE is telling me to turn them down all the time,so IF YOU CANT CRANK EM WHY HAVE EM!!!

Actually they are nominally a 5-ohm speaker...

    Robert,
Sorry you have to part with them. Chances are you're going to have to change you sig...

There are some freight carriers that could handle them for a "reasonable" price. F1 can name one for sure. Of course you'd have to pack them, but adding this info to your listing might help expand your market a tad.
