I have one pair of each of these and I may decide to sell them. I would rate their condition as maybe a 6.5 or 7 on a cosmetic scale and they are perfect on a function scale. Both pairs would benefit from new fabric and I haven't looked into this. If anyone here knows if the fabric available from Polk that would be appreciated. I am the second owner of both of these.
Basically I would like to know what kind of interest there might be in these. I am only considering it because I am moving to a smaller place temporarily and these would have to go into storage. I dont need to sell these, I am just looking to get an estimate of there value.
I know there are alot of knowledgeable Polkies here and I sincerely appreciate your honest feedback.

Thanks

The fabric is not available from Polk any longer. Ken Swauger, Polk Customer Service Master, referred me to a local shop for acoustic fabric. He suggested the synthetic fabric as oppossed to the natural, as it is lighter and fitted more for the purpose. Try you local fabric shop.

I am interested if you live somewhat close to me, otherwise I wish you luck in your sale. That is of course if you decide to sell. Good luck either way.

I am going by what information you have provided. Here is the Orion BB breakdown for you, but I do not know the current street values. The Polkies can add some specifics to the actual Audiogon/Ebay values.

That is the price each. I know for a fact the MSRP is/was $3400. Even so, a pair of mint 1.2TL's go for WAY more than $650. More like $2K as an average. In the shape you describe I would think about $1100 to $1500 would be reasonable.

As stated, alot depends upon condition of speakers.
Mint 1.2tl's will fetch over 2k, for most the shipping + crating and handling will be over $500. so a local pickup is key.

You may be wading in PM's but just so we all know, where are you located?

    thanks,

No not really wading in PM's...lol but I am in California. As stated earlier looking for estimates, might be co-ersed into a sale for the right dough, but not in need of the $. It's funny all the buzz is about the TL's and not anything about the srs's. I guess its all about the TL's.

Last I heard from Brad, he said he was going to keep the 1.2's, but that he still wanted to sell the srs's.
