would a yammy rxv-540 have enough power to cleanly drive the rti8's?

My wife saw an open box this weekend and she told me she'd rather us get the 8 over the 6's she does't like the look of the 6's.

so will the 85wts from the yammy be good enough ? and soesn anyone know when the monitors are to arrive in canada and if they will sell off the rti line like they do in the US?

edit: will the csi3 work well with the 8's ??

More than likely it will be just fine. I had the htr-5560 driving Rti70's for a while, and it was great IMO. Of course when I moved up it definately opened the sound and detail, but it will still work fine. Yes the Csi-3 is the right choice, though if the 5 goes on clearance because of the monitor line I would probably snag that.

    good to know

we have the csi3 but we'd be moving from the rti4 to the 8's... I think this will improve the overall sound the 4s will become rears and replace the r10s
