I have a set of Polk Audio S6 bookshelf speakers with (at most) 50 hours of service. They have been sitting in a closet for the past 6 years (no time for music since the kid arrived!), but still sound great! Cabinets are in very good condition (no visible scratches or blemishes).

If anyone needs me to drive by and do a visual inspection, he lives real close to where I work.
Powermac, I work right up the road in Hunt Valley on McCormick Road. I don't need any speakers at this time, but can assist in any way to help fellow Polkies.
JohnNo excuses! -
I appreciate your offer to look them over. At the moment, I have lent them to a co-worker to check out. He is somewhat interested in purchasing them, but I have no idea what to ask for them. I think I paid about $500-600 for the pair when I bought them, and hardly used them. Any ideas?

Dorokusai,
Are those prices per speaker or per pair? -
The mint and avg prices are useless, don't pay attention to them. The S6 actually had a 6.5 inch active, and a 6.5 inch passive radiator if Im not mistaken. I could be wrong, the S series had a mix of ported and PR designs.
$400 was the price per pair, $130 used (pair) is about right. If yours are super clean, with boxes ect, you may be able to demand a little more premium on top of that - but 1/3rd of retail is pretty much on-par for something like this.

Pair. The wholesale prices are just a reference, and essentially crackhead prices.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Thanks to all of you who jumped in to help me figure out what to do about my S6 speakers. It sounds like I have a price range to work within, which actually ends up pretty close to what I was thinking.
