Ol’ Gringo looks like Dick Van Dike in a cowboy hat. And apparently, the correct spelling of his name offends the censors.

Yeah, the preferred name is RICHARD Van Dykke.

I took a message for a coworker and I asked who's calling. He said "Dick Palmer" and I am still laughing and that was in 1986.

My collection. That Louisiana hot sauce is amazing with chili.

    @Irrenhaus - I love Da Bomb, Blair’s too.
That guy has an interesting story about how he came up with the recipe for his sauce.

If it doesn't burn on the way out, it wasn't really that hot!

I had a dog that would lick my kitchen table legs like they were his future bone. I put some hot pepper sauce on them to deter him from this habit. He licked all the hot sauce off then proceeded to ship all over my new carpet. Lessons learned.

Mine apparently loved hot sauce ( and road kill). Though I'm pretty sure neither liked him the next day... (usually on my carpet).

I like Crystal, Louisianne, and Texas Pete occasionally. Dislike Tobasco. Keep Cholula Chipotle in the car. ;)

Favorite at home though is this mixed 1:2 with either Budweiser Sweet and Smokey or Trader Joe's Smokey. Snaps up even plain meats like hot dogs.

Speaking of roadkill, I truly stopped my car on a country road and drove back to this, so I could get a picture

El Yucateco is my favorite, but the Nando's Peri Peri sauce is very good and not too hot. More garlic flavor than most other hot sauces I have used.

The El Yucateco Chipotle sauce is good for chili and similar dishes. 307la9a377ob.jpg

@Ricardo- El Yucateco is in about every grocery store here in Indiana.

Not the Mayakut Habanero sauce. Try to find it. This is (Supposedly) made with some original Mayan process. No vinegar in it. Yummy.

A little bit different. Says Mayan recipe. 1st ingredient is Habannero! Will try it tonight.

Oh wow, this stuff lit me up tonight big time. My eyes are watering. It did not do this to me the last few times I've had some. I actually went for the milk. Does this stuff get hotter as it sits?? Wow! This is rough!

    Taste great though!

I told him that I wanted to see a picture of the end result and that I didn't mean on the throne, to clarify. So he sent me the 2nd picture. His girlfriend is Mexican.

Went to Publix the other day hoping to get more El YUCATECO Habanero. They stopped carrying it.

So I found this 7 sauce pack on El Yucateco's website. Just placed an order. Can't wait to try them all.
