After months of stressing, I finally did it. I completed what might become the biggest single purchase I ever make in regards to audio. I hope the units will arrive in a few weeks and I can start to get them ready for you guys in Chicago.

Very nice looking kit. I heard you wanted me to demo them.

I really like the curved wood side panels. I wonder if they got that idea from Marantz?

For some reason those pics made me think of this song:

Gunny from Sonner Audio flew in to do some work and got to hear his speakers on the new kit.

Marvin also came over and refuses to sit in the sweet spot.

Jesse, MastersounD has always had the wood panels. They do something different with them each generation.

So Skip, are these going to become personal property or remain a “corporate asset”? ;)

Ha, that Gunny is a great dude. Looks sweet Skip, I'd be happy to break them in for ya, add a bit of garlic scent to the sound. Who doesn't like garlic after all.

Whats the take so far on SQ ? Comparisons ?

Initial impressions are that it’s an absolute pleasure to listen to. It’s effortless yet retains the smoothness that SET is known for. The gear itself is stunning in person and as much a pleasure to take in visually as it is sonically. I’m really excited to see how they will sound with proper amp stands and broken in.
