I started a new job on Monday Jan. 7th. That day the President dropped me off at the Dodge dealer so I could to pick up my Co. SUV. It is a new 2001, 4x4, V8 and she's fully loaded.

I've never owned or driven a Dodge product before, but I will say, this thing is very impressive. It handles very well, corners well, has a firm ride but not teeth jaring. It does get a tad bouncy when loaded with people but not too bad. The interior is very refined, all controls are in easy reach and one very nice feature is separate climate controls for passenger and driver. Currently my MPG is 15, not too bad for a V8.

Seating is decend, a bit cramped compared to out 2000 Toyota Sienna. You can seat 4 comfortably. There is a small third seat in back which is good for kids.

After tax/licence the total came to $29,310.00.

I would seriously consider one of these as a purchase SUV if I was in the market for one.

I will give it a good off-road test in a few months when I head to the desert for a shooting trip I've got planned.

Peace Out~:D

I gotta believe that any vehicle that I drive that someone else is paying for is pretty damn nifty.

    Good on ya Ron!

I've never been in one, with exception of the dealer lot, but always thought they looked sharp. I think ‘D/P Chrysler’ has come a long way since the '80s and the likes of the ‘K’ car. What a joke, not as bad as the AMC Pacer. ‘D/P-C’ has really done a turn around IMO have to like the comercial with Aerosmith and the trailer withtheir logo on the side. Who else could get that in a comercial for their song and big bucks. I agree withyou on their interior design, Ron, averything seems to be right were you need it.
