You all are making the news everyday now. :#

Usually when you make the news it isn't good. :s

It was 59 again here in Wilm. NC. When I saw that on this PC, I was out the door in 5 minutes to prune the rest of our Crape Myrtles.
I got a lot more tree pruning done. In fact, it is done and ready for the spring. :p
I have to move the trimmings to the road though.

Right when I got done near dusk...A big hawk flew over our house and landed in my neighbor's tree in their back yard. I saw a light come on in their house so I went and told them at their front door about it sitting just outside their kitchen window but at the back of their property line 25' up.

It was looking for dinner or just ate some. It sure looked cool and it looked at me looking at it for 15 min. off and on at least!! All and all...a very good day here in the SE. :p B)

It's at that evil and annoying level in Baltimore.
Right about freezing-ish, with wet, sloppy snow on the ground & roads.

And it's going to get colder overnight. Like glare ice everywhere colder.

As a transplanted WNY'er, I'd rather have the dry snow & dry bitter cold.
    Ice sucketh the very most.

Kids have been out of school for three days now. The US Mail said no deliveries today! My neighbor is retired from the USPS and I asked him if he remembers them keeping them home. He said no. Where I work they were offering no point no pay day off today. The only reason I have to try to make it in is we have a trainer from Colorado here for three days for advanced training. I hope my big ash Tundra starts? Peace. Dyqr3c0aolcio.jpeg

-25 with -55 wind chills postal service is closed here also schools are closed for the week, we have had 31 inches of snow for the month of January. That being said this Polar Vortex ain't chit, I made it to work other guys are whining, my car wont turn over, waah, my battery is dead, waah my car is making all kinds of weird noises, using the vortex for excuses get yours azzes to work.

I'm joking of course this Polar Vortex is a son of a gun, its crippling the midwest. I hope this massive cold air mass spreads as far south as Florida and ruins Mikeys Day. You hear that Mikey put away the swim suit and get your long John's out if you own any :D All of you experiencing this Polar Vortex stay safe and warm. It will be -12 for the high here today with -30 windchills.

-23 here in central Illinois with a high of -9 that is without the 12-14 mph wind.
My truck decide I needed a day off. The battery charger has been going for an hour and the needle has not moved. At the 200amp jump mode it barely gets to 10 on the meter.

Yep I'm home for the day
