VPI Nomad 1 with Herbie's Way Excellent II Mat

No joke, this turntable doesn't even have 5 hours on it. I bought it to use with a standalone headphone rig up in my loft, and I just never go up there. I'm doing a big gear rotation now and will end up with headphone bliss in the same rig with my loudspeakers, so no need for the second turntable. The Nomad includes the Ortofon 2M Red, and has it's own built-in phono stage and headphone amplifier. This is the original Nomad, not the revised one that was released a few months ago. The Nomad retails for $999, I am asking $750 including the Herbie's Mat (an absolute necessity, and a $68.50 value) with free shipping in CONUS.

Repackaged in original factory packaging with all paperwork and materials.

PM with inquiries, thanks for having a look.

Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Dropping the price to $675. I'm seeing that surplus Nomad 1's can be scored for $700, so my price was too high. So I'm now $25 cheaper than buying surplus stock, and mine includes the Herbie's Audio Lab mat.

Not really, sorry. I just moved into a 1200 square foot apartment after living in a 4000 square foot house for 20 years, I'm just trying to move out all the excess!

Ok, here's what I'm doing. I'm now unbundling the replacement mat from the Nomad, I'll just sell it separately. So now I'm going down to $499 with the stock mat only. VPI turntable for under five hundy...

Traveler is sold, but this Nomad is somehow still around. $499 in stock condition with about 4 hours of use on it. Brand new was $999.

My GAWD. What a steal. Glad i didn't see this one sooner. Last thing I need is another TT, but at that price I would have had to. Congrats MrBuhl!

Thanks @cmy330go ! After hearing it - I'm even MORE convinced it was a steal! I didn't need it either but after hearing it I'm glad I pulled the trigger. More open, more detailed than my Yamaha. And I can eliminate one set of interconnects and a preamp from the signal chain. (now which one... ugh! confessions of a hoarder... "my names MrBuhl, and I am an audio gear hoarder...").
