Lsi's and Parasound amps are a very nice match. Don't hesitate to combine them.

Go for the LSi and quench any upgraditis you might have.Magico M2, JL113v2x2, EMM, ARC Ref 10 Line, ARC Ref 10 Phono, VPIx2, Lyra Etna, Airtight Opus1, Boulder, AQ Wel&Wild, SRA Scuttle Rack, BlueSound+LPS, Thorens 124DD+124SPU, Sennheiser, Metaxas R2R

Man I have to hear some lsi's if they are that good. My A9s sound fantastic with crisp but not harsh highs with a thick delicious midrange and tight deep base that can punch you in the chest if you want it to.

Well I ended up going with the full set of RTi's for $475. I'll be working on the receiver tomorrow but I don't plan on having to pay more than $150 for an Onkyo 807. So for $625 I get a full setup. I'm pretty happy with that.
Obviously down the line I'll be looking for upgrades but I'll be in a much better financial situation. These should make a very nice "entry level" system.Computer nerd diving head first into quality audio. -
I think your choice of system at $475 + receiver is a very good move. I think you will remain happy for a long time.Magico M2, JL113v2x2, EMM, ARC Ref 10 Line, ARC Ref 10 Phono, VPIx2, Lyra Etna, Airtight Opus1, Boulder, AQ Wel&Wild, SRA Scuttle Rack, BlueSound+LPS, Thorens 124DD+124SPU, Sennheiser, Metaxas R2R

There are several archived threads here comparing the two lines: very different. If you are that happy with your RTis then it is actually pretty likely that you will not love the LSis. The sound is just very different.

Thanks guys! I think so too.The million dollar question: what do you think of them compared to the Monitor 60's?
I'll post a review compared to the Monitor 60's once I have them up here at school to review. Luckily my parents are nice enough to drive 35 minutes away to pick them up for me It probably won't be until Easter that I'll have them actually in my hands.Pics!!!
I'll post some once I have them! The two RTi 10's will be over sized in my little room at school but I can't wait to have my Studio apartment in Cincinnati to set them up in May!EndersShadow wrote: »Congrats man! I take it your local to Indianapolis as well?

I think you'll be happy with the RTi's and the 807 combo. I ran a 5.1 RTiA (5s 1s and A4) setup with the same amp and was very happy. Ultimately, the 807 had the dreaded HDMI failure but Onkyo repaired it free of charge. Something to consider....Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!!

Yeah, I had the same problem with my dad's 805. Luckily the warranty kicked in. I remember having to chase down the UPS truck on Christmas Eve because we weren't home to hear the delivery. Fun timeComputer nerd diving head first into quality audio.
