LSiM703's too much for my setup?
As always appreciate you guys input, all input. I took advantage of the 50% off F&F deal in December & bought a pair LSiM705's. Now I need to replace my TL2's, 'understand the 703's are timbre matched and should rock.
I bi-amped my Yamaha RX-A3020 into the 705's, they sound fantastic, mostly music, volume up to -6 on the AVR is loud enough for me-(bass is sometimes a little pushy?). (CD vs Airplay output has same volume & no discernible difference in quality-?)
The Yamaha has no problem driving the 705's when listening in stereo or 5.1 watching movies. 2 questions: how often does Polk offer 50% F&F deal, if I buy the 703's can my Yamaha handle them w/the 705's, CS20 & BIC F12 Power Sub? Am I asking the right question? Thank you.

This is the second consecutive year Polk has had the 50% off sale. It was completely random and with no warning. It may or may not happen again. There is absolutely no guarantee. Its better not to expect it but if it happens again , so be it.
The rule of thumb is that you want all your speakers to be timbre matched and this is especially true for the front stage. Front left and right and center speakers. In your case you should be looking at the LSiM704 or 706 center speaker for seamless integration with the 705s.
I do not have any personal experience with the Yamaha but looking at its specs it looks like a very capable 165watt ( 2ch driven ) , 9.2 channel receiver and i am inclined to say that at moderate levels it should be able to drive all your speakers including 703s.
It will also be a good idea to add an amplifier to the mix to run the LSiMs to their full potential. Hopefully your receiver has pre outs for the inclusion of an amplifier.AMP/Pre Pro: Outlaw 7000x, Marantz AV7703

You think you did, but you didn't. That's not even close to bi-amping.Political Correctness'.........defined

Thanks nut, the more I read...the less I know. I did remove the bridge on the 705's and ran 2 pairs of speaker wire, one from front speaker connection on the Yamaha, 2nd set from the bi-amp connection(zone 2) on the Yamaha and changed the speaker setting on the 3020 to bi-amp front....

Thank you gumbay, would i hear bigger improvement from buying a matched center vs matched rears?

As long as i'm learning & you guys are educating/teaching: if the 3020 has 9 amps in the case to drive 9 channels and i remove the front speaker bridge(s), run separate wires to the front & zone 2/bi-amp connectors, 'tell' the Yamaha in Settings the speakers are bi-amped, how am I not ba? Thank you.

For one, it doesn't have 9 amps in it, it has 9 separate channels all using the same power supply. Bi-amping consists of separate amps and a separate crossover if you go by the letter of the law so to speak. Anytime you use a shared power supply, it isn't bi-amping.HT SYSTEM-
