Selling my Carver AV-705x amp. This amp has been in use 24/7 since I bought it about 4 years ago.
It works with no issues at all, however tts got some cosmetic issues that are NOT visible in daily use.
Their is a dent in the bottom of the amp near the right back leg, 3 of the trim pots are broken (but are in the 100% gain position) and are still attached to the unit. Their is one RCA ground plug that is loose and the binding posts are slightly bent on a couple of the channels.
However NONE of this cause any issue with its actual use.
The amp is rated 125x5 with powersteering which allows unused wattage to be stolen from one channel and used for another.
I've been using this amp to drive my 5 channel LSi setup which contains the LSi 15's which are some of the more challenging of the line.
I have YET to be able to trip the amp in any of my use.
I am asking what I bought it for 250. I very much prefer a local sale, and am willing to drive a bit to do a face to face exchange. I am located in Indianapolis, Indiana. I am open to offers, and POSSIBLY even shipping but the buyer would pay actual shipping costs. If its too high, hit me with an offer. PM me with offers or any questions.
Some additional info and manuals can be found at this link

This is back on the market. My B&K is back from the shop and working just fine.
As stated I'd like to get around 250 for it, prefer NOT to ship it, and am willing to drive a bit to do a face to face exchange.
I've done my fair share of transactions here so buy w/ confidence."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
