This is to organize the interest in the 2B's I offered in Sid's thread in the Speaker forum. I am asking $250.00 for a set of Black Sda2B's with original boxes and packing material. Below is the list of people (in order) which have shown interest. Please let me know if you are still interested.
1. Sid- No interest at current price.
2. Disneyjoe7- no longer interested.
3. Acdds- still interested.
4. Hoosier21- still interested.
5. Reeltrouble1- still interested
6. gshisme- still interested.

I would rather not ship, but will do so at the buyers expense.
Thanks, Jeff

do you have pictures of these babies? Thinking of replacing a pair of CRS+'s with these. I have SDA's and have more in the way, please place me on the lower end of the pecking order here, don't want to be greedy, if the other interested parties are SDAless I want them to get them.

    warlocks,
Are you located near or around the D.C. area? If not you can take me off the interested list. I have interest in another pair in southern Virginia (mapquest listed 6.5 hrs one way) and was looking to perhaps shorten my commute to bag a pair of these babies. This all may be for naught since I'm trailing considerably on the interested list.

    Location ? ...

To some yes and some no or I guess more accurately some have different tolerances for how far away things are than others.

It would be great if all of those coming upon pairs of SDA's or other of the older Polk speaker systems in their locale that they are not personally interested in post the relevant information so that those who are could at least follow-up on their own.

What does a non-common ground interconnect have to do with it? His price is outstanding, esp with the orig boxes.

SDA2b's SHOULD go for every bit of $400, I haven't watched the market on them recently though.

I have no SDA's:confused: I know squat about them, except that I have read a bunch of the threads here and am setting up a 2 ch system and figure these will work and get me started with the SDA sound. My 2ch room is only 13 x 14. I read there is cable that connects the speakers somehow and assume this is how SDA effect works.

    I will buy warlocks speakers.

I know what the custom cable is for you one-eyed butt pirate, but why even mention it, in relation to his price? (other than you have a pair w/ the cable for sale, for more $)

Yeah yeah yeah. Polk has a pretty big warning on the back of each SDA, along with a diagram for proper connection.

Which is wonderful for those that own a pair or have seen a pair ...

But the info is of course good for those who are potential buyers.

I do not have a common ground cable. I live right outside DC in No VA. I will let you all know what Acdds says. He is going to get back to me. I will post a picture if necessary. I have to get them out and unpack them. It is not an easy task alone! I will not be able to post photos until the weekend. I would prefer the shortest drive possible for me!

I emailed Acdds and asked for a decision. I found the copy of the manual Polk sent me. These are SDA-2B Studio version. Thanks

I might could possibly be interested, if no one else here (haha) ends up buying 'em. For those of you who don't know, I have a new Yamaha receiver and now speakers. I've heard of the SDA speakers a lot on this forum, but have no clue on what they are, what they look like, how they differ from Sonys, JBLs, or Klipsch. What's the deal with 'em? Would greatly appreciate an explanation. BTW, I live in the triad area in NC.

Also, reflecting that I know nothing about these speakers, could they later be used as fronts for a TH setup? Or are they strictly for stereo? And, how much power do they soak up? Would my little Yamaha RX-V1400 be able to push any of it? And, what are the pros and cons of this kind of speaker? Thanks.

Also, does this price include a pair? Or, do you need a pair? I really don't know a thing about 'em, but they've sparked my interest. Thanks!!

Yes they are a pair. Yes it is a great deal. Yes you should buy them.

They are more often used as a 2CH setup, tho' they have been seen in HT.

    Jeff,

If no one has claimed them, I will. I can pick them up next Friday or Saturday.

If someone else has bagged them, no biggie but if they are still available, I'd like them.

Only issue is that I can ONLY pick them up either a week from today or Saturday.

Computer access is limited for me so yay or nay, just post a message here or PM me.

    Thanks,

I thought I was pretty clear here when I said " I will buy warlocks speakers" about buying these from Warlocks. I was fifth on the list, looks like all the others except Acdds who were in front of me have passed so I am waiting for Warlocks to let me know.

When I say I will buy that means exactly that.

Acdds passed. Hoosier's post said he would pass for SDAless parties. If that is still true, reeltrouble is up. Now, the difficult part. I don't want to piss anyone off, but!!! I have 2 different people who are willing to pick the speakers up form me. This would save me a lot of time and trouble. Is it wrong for me to now require pick up? I want to be fair, but I don't want to drive a long way to meet someone if it isn't necessary. Reeltrouble, how did you plan on getting the speakers? Thanks

I would go pick up only, its your call....and your sale. I would not entrust shipping of a very nice speaker to the system. Either way it is going to a Polkie, and that's always a good thing. :)
