Another How It's Made Episode

I just finished watching an episode of How It's made that showed the build process of a McIntosh MC-275. It was pretty interesting. They spent a lot of time on the transformers. I looked for a YouTube video of the segment but no luck. It seems that others are starting to become interested in our little hobby.

    Dang, thought I'd seen abut every episode! I do not remeber seeing that one.

    Original air date was June 5, so fairly new. I saw one earlier this year about turntables, which I'm watching now. It was from 2012. Incidentally, the episode before it was about Martin Logan speakers.

    I DVRed it so I can show it to another Audiophile friend.

    I was amused that they had the little tube amp displayed on a set of their 2K monoblocks. The ones where the 135 pound power supply is separate from the 115 pound amplifier section. I wonder what those cost?

    I've heard those on B&W 800D loudspeakers, DEVINE! I was told the price but because I knew I'd NEVER be able to afford them, I really didn't pay attention.
