Did all planned at once to put on sale or just a coincidence?
I've never seen that many 2.3's in the FS section at once. 3 pairs within a week.

Klipsch RB81, KG3.5, B&W DM602.5, Polk.
Subwoofers: Klipsch RW10, Triad ProSub Bronze.

I dunno Mystery...but it's killin me as I can't find even a pair of 1Cs let alone 2.3s anywhere around where I live...I so badly want to experience SDA...

How close are you to Chicago? There's a set of 1C's there....

What the hell is a kilometer????
It's so funny. I was about to type the same thing.
A kilometer is pretty small so 3500 km actually is a walking distance.

... and then there were two. I think it was just a coincidence. Can't speak for the others but my timing wasn't anything special or timed.

As bad as I want a set of 2.3tl's, I won't be spending anymore money on SDA's, my 1.2tl's and CRS+'s are my end in SDA's.

I want to find a set of monitor 7's or 10's for the garage, and I really thought I might purchase a set of LSiM's put in all honesty I don't really see me purchasing any more Polk speakers..

You have the TOTL SDA's and that are fully upgraded as well.
Anything else in that series will be just for a test or to try out, not an upgrade nor replacement of what you have.

I do want to listen to the new LSi line but would like to try that at someone's place before I dive in.

Polk has great speakers, but like many here, I've moved on. There are too many speakers out there to simply devote all your resources to a single manufacturer. You need to hit RMAF next year if you've never been and get a solid introduction to a plethora of excellent gear.

I have been many times, it's just sad that most of the music sucks, well sucks is a bad word, but after a few rooms it all starts to sound the same.

    The gear is beautiful though..

I think part of the reason a lot of people seem to be selling these is their size...they are huge...

Well size does matter and mine are not for sale. I knew what I wanted 24 years ago and I know what I want now.

I don't really care about how bid the speakers are, it's just a matter of what size of room is needed for them.

It's about taking care of the room as well, most people are not going to have the perfect room for them, but if you take care of the room you will be surprised at what these will sound like in a room that's treated..

The problem in my living room is the location of the doors coming in and out of the room, so with the way it has to be laid out, you are only about 6' from the speakers!

My point, the room is not always perfect but they come and go.
If I would have considered "more" the room that I had back then in the old house I would not have bought them.
But thinking ahead and throwing sheets to the wind I knew my next house would be right for them so now I am very happy
I did what I did then.
