Moved! I just finally got the Squeezebox up and running, right now I'm just running a 2.1 setup. I need to order a spool for the surrounds and get the tv mounted on the wall. Hopefully within a few weeks I'll be back to 5.1, but for now it feels great to have Radio Paradise going again.
I'll tell you, moving 1200 miles is a daunting task. I did come in under budget which was great. I had a few more expenses once I got back to Iowa than I thought I would. I'm slowly learning the Des Moines area and I'm feeling pretty good about the area. Now I need the house in NC to sell so I can get to shopping in this area!
I think for this afternoon I'll reward myself with a trip to Ewing park with the dog. I have some great neighbors who volunteered to help move in some big ticket items when I pulled up and the next night invited me for dinner. Played cards at their place till midnight last night, and his birthday is tonight so they have been some good new friends so far.
Let the next adventure in life begin!!
