    The irony of it all was I spent most of my time working on a diesel fired heater and never got it started. Damn you gelled diesel!!

    Spose to get down to -17 Sunday night with wind chills pushing -35 or -40 and the high on Monday -9 more snow tomorrow just got back from Boise Wednesday night the temps there were mid 30s during the day teens at night that was warm compared to this Upper Midwest crapola.

    I got offered Packer playoff tickets for FREE today (endzone though). Apparently although they sold out there are good tickets all over the place for cheap. Frozen tundra indeed when the sun goes down about the second quarter. My Dad was at the Icebowl in '67 and he said they didn't even feel the cold because it was so exciting. I used to live in Green Bay for eleven years and went to a lot of real cold games. But still debating about Sunday, its going to be colder than a proverbial well-digger's azz, and this game ain't gonna be no Icebowl.

    Folks a word of advise if your driving around it this extreme weather make sure you have a winter gear/ emergency kits in your vehicles. Vehicles tend to break down when it gets below -25 and a drive to the store can turn into a life and death situation if you're not prepared for the worst.

    Where I live we get -40 on a regular basis you gotta have the gear cuz you won't last long exposed to a wind chill of -25 or colder.
