As much as I champion that fact that SDA's are generally underpriced and the fact they don't make them anymore, I have to say that price is ridiculous.

Location is everything... if they are across the street from you and no shipping is needed, this could be a good deal for someone.

um I like how they are new old stock yet they have marks on the speakers..

just stupid. You can always ask what you want but don't expect to sell anything at that price.

I sent that seller a email asking why he feels they are worth twice the price that they cost when they were brand new and told him they will not even work correctly without the SDA cable which he does NOT have and he will not reply. I also talk to several others that asked him why that price and that speakers are not a classic car and go down not up in value and they are not even close to the top model Polk made and they will not respond what so ever.

By the why those have been listed many many times. The guy needs to put the crack pipe down and find a better price.

Local to be I have seen the SDA 2B with the boxes and cable go for $225 so why would anyone spend that on them is beyond me.

He has been trying for quite a wile. Who knows if the drivers even work. For that price they better be wired with pure silver wire.

You haven't priced some of the older Altec-Lansing, JBL or Tannoy, etc. speakers I take it.

I sent him a message, letting him know that his price was way too high. Here's his reply:

"Excellent! Thanks for the info! I love people that think they belong to the ebay police! It makes my day to read emails like yours.

I promise I won't force you to buy them. These are listed with a BEST OFFER just in case you missed it.

Ebay is a wonderful place where people like you AND sellers like me can co exist. It costs me so little a month to keep items listed it's not a big deal if they are up for awhile. I have an ebay STORE. I have had so many items sell for prices that were well above average. I'm willing to wait for the right buyer.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write. I truly enjoyed your email. You have a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year.

You should have offered to sell him the IC cable, because since he thinks they are worth that much he probably thinks the original cable is very valuable. Say $125.00 ?

Ah Nakamichi cassette decks. Those were the days. I used to have the RX-202, it was one of the Naks that would pop the tape out and flip it around for the auto-reverse. It was a great deck, but I don't miss the cassette days at all.
