Quick question about Fxi's in 7.1 configuration

So I just pulled the trigger on a pair of Fxi5's, and am trying to figure out the best way to set my 7.1 up. I'll have the Fxi5's on the walls 90º from my main seat, and move the Fxi3's behind me on the rear wall. Should I set them all to bi-pole or di-pole, or do a combination of the two?

Polk recommends setting the rears on Di and the sides on Bi. I figure at best, that could be a starting point and that you could experiment with different configurations.

That's basically what I was getting from everything I was reading, just didn't know if it was better to have them to the same setting or if it was ok to mix an match. I'll try it for myself too but think that's prob going to be my best bet. I'm also thinking 5's on the sides and 3's in the rear unless there is some reason to do otherwise.

Yeah, that's a good call with the arrangement, of course, you could go Godzilla and put another pair of 12's in the rear

That's pretty much what I'm doing, I've got two pairs of A9's, which I normally run wide, but due to my smaller room, I'm running them as rears, nothing but clean midrange and plenty of bass, I'm impressed myself!!

Haha maybe one day, next step is getting a good 2 channel amp for my 12's.
