Looking into starting a 5.2 setup, need some help/recommendations.
Current setup:
CSIA4
T15 (pair)
SW8-MK2
VSX-822
Eventual:
CSIA4
RTIA5 or A7 (would the a5 be more suited to a 5.2?)
(2) PSW505
FXiA4
Receiver recommendation?

Pioneer Elite SC series is a prefect receiver for you. Instead of 2 psw505's i'd buy something from HSU, SVS or Outlaw. Dual subs will even out frequency response in the room, but i've ran dual 505's and went to an SVS and they could not compete. I'd go with A7's but the A5's are great too, and if it frees up a little more $ to put towards a sub you'd probably be better off. Just my .02 based on my experience.

I agree with B Run's sub recommendation. SVS's entry level cylinder, the PC-12 NSD, is excellent, and (1) PC12 will blow (2) 505's out of the water. Of course, (2) PC12's would be even better.
And btw SVS gives you a discount if you buy (2)... and an even bigger discount if you buy (4). Find a buddy who needs a couple and go in on a quad, that's what I did with my dad! Great warranty, 45 day money back guarantee, and excellent customer service.
Those RTi's are sweet, can't go wrong there.2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's
Living Room: PC > Marantz AV-7703 > Emotiva XPA-5 > Sonus Faber Liuto Towers, Sonus Faber Liuto Center, Sonus Faber Liuto Bookshelves > Dual SVS PC12-Pluses
Office: Phone/Tablet > AudioEngine B1 > McIntosh D100 > Bryston 4B-ST > Polk Audio LSiM-703's -
I think a little more information would help.
What is your budget, room size, and how are you going to use your system.
I do agree with the above recommendations, but then again I like Pioneer, you may prefer a different sound. I would suggest that you audition various manufactures AVR's, even if you can only listen to their entry level models, they all sound different.
I personally preferred the A5's to the A7's, and they work well with the CSI A4 center. With either choice you'll have a good system. If you happen to be looking for really big subs, you may also want to check out Power Sound Audio. -
^ Totally forgot about Power Sound Audio as they're newer, but I wouldn't hesitate to pick one of those up at all.

Given that everything except the center needs upgrading, I would say between $1500 and $2000 for the rest. The room size is going to vary considering I rent and live in a town I don't plan on living in very much longer. The use would lean towards music and gaming.I think a little more information would help.

You can pick up the A7's, and FXI A4 at Polk e-bay for just under $1100, plus tax. Look at the HSU VTF-1 MK2, SVS PB 1000 or SVS SB 1000 for a sub. Don't let these being their entry level products fool you. Any one of those subs will give 2 PSW 505's a run for their money. Cost for any one of those, $500, HSU has a shipping, both will probably add tax.
Then you may want to look at the Pioneer SC-1222K. Looks like a pretty good AVR for under $1k.
That would give you a 5.1 system, using your CSI A4 center at about $2500.
