By now most of you guys know just how impressed I have been with Doug's cables in my rig. They have been in use from the day I got them and have never been removed. I have since upgraded the crossovers in my 1.2tL's and the sound just keeps getting better and better. I logged into his site today and ordered a few more IC's for the rig today and found he is having a July 4th sale over there....

Review thread...

And to his Website...

Doug is a great guy to deal with and does some of the best cables and IC's available for the money. Now is a great time to give them a listen.

nooshinjohn, which of Doug's cables would you recommend for an IC and which for speaker cables?

I went on Doug's website but got confused at the various models found there and I also could not find the 2 models he mentioned in your other (original) post - the Furez locking RCAs for ICs, and the Furez TST WP48XLNP for speaker cables.

I have never had quality cables. I am using WalMart or Best Buy generic ICs and Home Depot (GE) speaker cables - and I am curious about a cable upgrade, although my budget is limited.

I would need them strictly for 2 channel: Polk SDA 2B TL speakers, Yamaha CR 2020 receiver (soon to be replaced by a Parasound HCA 1500A and as-yet-to-be-determined pre amp), Rotel RCC 1055 CD player, and Thorens TD-160 turntable.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the info. That is a good idea - I will send him a pm and get his advice on what cables would be best, considering my gear and my budget.

I may have to try some of those Furez rca plugs.
I was NEVER a fan of locking rca plugs until the last couple of years (they grow on ya, especially the Vampires:cheesygrin:), and now I love em!

Can't find a better guy than Doug to deal with!
I have done several deals with him, truely a great guy, and an asset to this forum!

Discount, no discount still an excellent cable. If you're thinking of going the Signal Cable route I'd suggest you give these a try. I'm a gear flipper but now my cables aren't. Doug is amazing to deal with and you can thank me later for the suggestion.
