So I poped the ADCOM 555 a couple of nights (tragic accident because of my stupidity ). I was bum about the amp and the fact that I could not use it to bi-amp the 70s.
I new it was hopeless after reading most of the threads that talked about the same situation. The next morning, I called a local electrician that I've met a couple of years a go and told him what happened.
The guy's schedule was wide open that day so, he aggreed to see the amp. After a couple of minuts of trouble shooting, he gave me a disapointed look. I knew that I've lost the amp after he grabbed a couple of beers from his mini-frig and stepped out to the back part of his shop. I did not bother to ask him what was the damage. I think I smoked a whole pack of cigarettes that day. We went back to the shop after a couple of mins. (still clueless of what was the amp's damage), he plugged in a fuse inside the amp and WALAAAA, the poor thing is up and breathing again (sigghhhh). He closed his shop for the day and I baught him a case of Might Get Drunk(MGD )in exchange to his sevice. This guy is very cool!! I saved money for the repair and from throwing it away and most importantly, I enjoyed the beers on a sunny day in San Francisco(it was a bit cold at first but the beer warmed me up right away.)
