What? You call somebody a dear girlfriend without even meeting her face-to-face once? Only in this day and age could something as weird as this happen! He should change his last name to Gump

What's so good about it? He was the one that let everyone know about the death of his so-called girlfriend. The story was used to pump up his Heisman campaign, then the hoax was discovered and hidden since December and only surfaced due to an internet source. Bizarre, nothing good about it at all.

Wow! This is actually surprising to me. In this day and age you know you can't make up a whopper like this and think nobody's gonna figure it out.

Depending on which story you read - he might have been in on it. I really hope that's not the case.

Some guys are just pathological liars. I've known a few of them most recently this dude that recently got hired at work. Apparently he was a personal bodyguard to MC Hammer back in the 90's.......oh and his dad was a spy. I will always remember this guy when I wad a mall cop. He used to talk about his days in the 'Nam. Unfortunately he wasn't smart enough to do the math because he was born in 1960.

Some people just can't help it.

    His story IS believable.

Scamming or just trolling is becoming more common everyday.

There was a very popular "girl" on a car forum I frequent that developed "cancer".

Just for the increase in drama. It was eventually discovered that she was not only perfectly healthy, but every single detail about her life was entirely false. Then a couple of years later it happened again. This time with a guy that was a very prolific poster that supposedly had MS and died. Again, neither was true.

Hard to believe since everything on the internet MUST be true.

He had a girlfriend until he took a peak under the hood and found a stick shift instead. He then needed to kill her off so he could move on. I call it the PFB "ladyboys in skinny jeans" defense!

LOL! That is one of the funniest commercials out right now.

And no, his story isn't believable. Somebody acting like they're somebody they're not on an internet forum is one this but having a year long relationship is another. Chick has a bad car accident and you don't go see her. She is laying in the hospital dying and you don't go see her. She goes **** up and you don't go to the funeral. I can't call BS loud enough.

I think this is simply a guy like my mall cop buddy who liked to talk all dramatic (we met with soulful eyes) to everybody about his dying girlfriend and then stuff got real and he got really popular and then television networks started covering it and then its an, "oh ****! What do we do now" kinda thing.
