Hello, nap. To answer your question? Yes. Twice for two separate things. One to inform him of an incorrect Polk Audio phone number [listed on this forum] that has been disconnected and the other to address the spamming issue. As of yet, no reply and no corrected/updated number.

we need a report user function so we can report them at the first spam post and possibly help stop this sooner, and a feature, that in the event you are reported, a captcha or something similar must e completed for each new post, or posting isnt allowed until confirmation is received that it is a real user

This forum already has one. Look down to the lower left of every post. You will see a small black triangle with a white exclamation point within it. Simply click on this and report the post. Reporting it will notify the management team with a report but unless someone is at the helms at the moment the report is sent, the SPAM remains until a moderator or administrator sees it and removes the user and their posts.

that only reports the post, just because someone posts spam doesnt mean they are a spammer, they could have been hacked or something, but what i suggested wwould be something that went into effect without moderator action, maybe needs to be reported by two or three users, but something thats going to stop or slow down the spammer maybe even deter them,

But a system could be added to the registration process to stop it right there even before the BS starts.

like stated before, many of these start out with an end user controlling it, once the profile is in place, its transfered to automated control, which would allow them to circumvent those steps in registering,

Mr. DVDrip has started again. How far will he get today....

What a jackass! Wouldn't you like to get your hands around his neck?

What bugs me is that some government has not put these guys in jail yet. It isn't as if they are in stealth mode. They are about as blatant as a illegal spammer can get, so it should not be that hard to track them down. Where is the motion picture industry when you need them?

idk, i love how on a federal installation, on a govt owned 65inch tv, in front of a whole building full of people, people were watching a movie that had been in theaters for about a week, which if im not mistaken, any sort of video piracy is a federal offense. so of all the places to do it, yeah, and there was no action taken
