OK.
I was just sitting in our little "media room" with my eyes closed and Talking Heads "Remain in Light" pumped up pretty high.
The wife's out walking the dog, day is turning to dusk, and the music is just about to make me cry.
Crazy, I know, but I love music so much, and I'm putting on albums and hearing things I've never heard before, and hearing what I've heard before in a completely new and different way. And many of these songs were so important to me at various times in my life... the mileposts of my life.
I just wanted to say "Thank You" to everyone in this forum for helping me get back to a place where the music matters again.
Now, if someone will please pass me a tissue I'll compose myself before I post again.

That's what it's all about.
Those moments are what all the 'work' is for.

Things will only get better as you grow in the hobby. 5 years ago, I thought my Yamaha RX-v861, and my little monitor 50's was as good as it got. Now I am building my own amps, tweaking speakers and spinning vinyl again. The hobby is nothing but a black hole, but it sure is a hell of a lot of fun!:loneranger:The Gear... I'd suggest you return, regroup and make another choice. Just kidding....anything that gets you into the next stage of audio is a solid choice. Enjoy!CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
