I have seen questions about this before. I had my camera out to get ready for an RT5000p CL post anyway so I thought I would take a couple of quick photos if you ever have to do this. It ended up being a bad news, good news, bad news deal. The amp failed, i have a replacement, the replacement doesn't work...guess I'll have to call polk CS on monday. I found a very loose connector on the NIB board as shown in last photo but not sure that is the problem. It powers up per the green light but no sound....anyway.

This is a 30 - 45 minute job. There are 16 screws to remove out of the back. I recommend removing 12 screws and loosening 4 corner screws and leaving them in. Use them to support the weight of the amp as it takes a bit to loosen them from the cabinet.

Once the amp is loose, push it back into the cabinet and remove the last 4 screws. You will have to pull it straight out, but then tilt the top out and rest the bottom on the cabinet. You will have to remove the first wire disconnect to tilt the amp more.

When you tilt more, you can disconnect the other quick connect and the red and black pin connected wires.

Pull out the amp. Reverse the process to install.
