What's with the Surplus of Left Channel LSi15's ?

I've been looking around for a pair of LSi15's and have found that there are quite a few more left channel units for sale used than there are right channel.

Not that I have a representative sample from Craigslist, eBay, etc., but it does seem like a pattern.

Any conspiracy theories as to why?

    You could buy two lefts and flip one of them upside down so the woofer is firing the opposite direction...

    Probably more people clicking the first link that comes up on ebay and saying "Oh I need two" and ordering 2 right side speakers instead of finding an auction for a left and an auction for a right or simply an auction with a pair.
