think p301 went

Hi guys ,I'm back again w/ kind of a disturbing problem.If you guys remember my systems are a hoge boge of stuff but it all works or worked until now.I was in my 2chl mode and litening to my Denon cdp when all sorts of static came, volume dropped and became inaudible.Yes I tried a diffenet cd and plugged and unplugged the ICs,pwrd up/dwn and still nothing out of the P-301 either dock,inet radio or again cd player.So I am fotunate to have an avr w/ pre-outs and that's what I'm going w/ right now and ALL functions work through the Yamaha as a pre/pro and my Adcom as the pure pwr source.My question is now how do get my h/t system back or is that not possible.The right and left fronts are revmoved and was told they needed to stay uplugged in 2-chl mode.Do I have ANY aternatvie besides 1.getting another seperate pre-amp which will probably happen or 2. have to swicth the cables every time I want to watch tv and the h/t system.
Having stuff break blows.Is there any test to be done on the p-301 or did I try everything already.I really do not like the idea of moving the rack everytime my whims change and I decide to watch or listen to different things.It's a shame because I found the remote for the p-301 at a swap meet and the motorized vol. control and all remote features worked until well they didn't.

So, never mind what I said about letting me know if you decide to get rid of that pre! :cheesygrin:
I know it sucks, I really liked my P301. When mine **** it's pants it just never powered on again.--Gary--
Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out.
